About This File
Ancient Hebrew was both written (and pronounced) differently than modern Hebrew - it appears that the most similar to the ancient is the Yemenite Jewish pronounciations. Here is an extended video of the Ten Commandments being read from the Torah with the Yemenite word pronounciation and the Yemenite Ta'amin (rhythmic vocalizations). It is really beautiful and so holy - this has been read in this fashion for thousands of years.
