This breathtaking image truly captures the historic link that the modern state of Israel is in the chain of Jewish history. Whether the state is able (or unable) to emerge as a viable nation in the Middle East jungle of arab hatred is not yet clear - but this picture makes the future so clear - either a generational handoff to another Shoah (Holocaust) or a new era of safety for Jewish children. We are not there yet - ask the Sderot children - or the Gush Katif evacuee kids. The choice is ours and Israel can enable a great redemption or another Jewish disaster - it is up to us - and we owe it to the Holocaust "arm with the nazi tattoo" to fight for the Jewish kinderlach (children).
