(IsraelNN.com) Security camera footage has been released by Israeli Police showing a group of eight Arabs assaulting a Jewish man at the Givati parking next to Jerusalem's Old City last Friday. During the incident, the Jewish man fired shots at the Arabs, lightly injuring to of them. The footage shows the Jewish man and Arabs exchange words, after which some of the Arabs begin to kick him. The Arabs seem to leave the man alone, but can later be seen walking back in his direction. One of them is even seen spitting at the Jew.

Israeli media had originally reported that the Jewish man had instigated the attack.
