Shlomo Riskin of Efrat Calls Jesus Christ the Model Rabbi - in possibly the most blasphemous video that we have seen by someone with the self-described title - "orthodox rabbi" - the chief "Rabbi" of Efrat - shlomo riskin - says that he views Jesus Christ as the "model rabbi" - the outrage of this video is beyond words - here is another response from Rabbi Dr. Shalom Gold (Har-Nof), a leading rabbi in the modern orthodox community in Israel had this to say:

"While recent clarification from Rabbi Riskin is welcome on this matter, I remain concerned. Rabbi Riskin's consistently radical statements and ambiguous positions on interfaith dialogue and endeavors can be misinterpreted by both Jews and Christians and manipulated and twisted to fit the agendas of those who are trying to undermine the foundations of the Jewish faith and wreak confusion among our people. Furthermore, it would be advisable for Rabbi Riskin to steer clear of mixing politics, history and Christian theological issues together with what is clearly a halachic matter. I imagine Rabbi Riskin's revered teacher Rav Yoseph B. Soloveitchik, z"l would have been greatly distressed over the crossing of theological lines between faith communities which is currently taking place under the pretense of an Israel-evangelical alliance."

Following this "rabbi" as so many do is one of the reasons Jewish people remain in exile and have generations of suffering. The last 2-3 minutes can be skipped as they are total nonsense. The damage and outrage happens in first half. But riskin's words at end can easily be understood that only difference between Jewish Messiah (Moshiach) and christian belief in Jesus's rebirth is a mathematical issue - Jews see it as "First Coming" and christians views it as "Second Coming" - this video made us sick and knowing that 1000s of Jews follow him (kiss his hand!!) makes us thoroughly ill. The Jews have been and continue to be their own worse enemies with their rabbis leading the charge.
