Musical Miracle Story of Life of Zacharia

In the mere span of a year, talented songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Zacharia has been fortunate enough to write record and release his debut album of original music aptly titled "Beautiful Mystery". While criss-crossing back and forth along two different continents, three cities and two countries, Zacharia wrote and recorded the 12 tracks encompassing his eponymous musical debut which, in turn, has succeeded in capturing and expressing an untamed exuberance for life, as well as the secrets hiding beneath its myriad surfaces.

Born in Toronto Canada, "Zach" was diagnosed with a rare form of non-hodgkins cancer known as "Burkitts Lymphoma" at the age of 11. While enduring six months of intense chemotherapy at Toronto’s Hospital For Sick Children, Zach was visited by a member of The Starlight Foundation, whom offered the ill child one wish for anything that he so desired. To the surprise of everyone in the room, Zach asked for a guitar, amp and lessons; there began the musical journey that has led up to this point. Flash forward to 2009, upon a chance meeting between Zach and New York producer Eli Schwebel in Jerusalem, Israel, the two partnered up to bring the album "Beautiful Mystery" into fruition. Coming full circle, Zacharia has officially involved his fledgling project with the very same organization that set him on this particular course, the Starlight Foundation, to donate a portion of each CD sale towards making similar dreams come true for severely ill children throughout the world.
