Jewish Congressman Eric Cantor, a potential Vice Presidential running mate for Republican John McCain in 2008, adresses a crowd in Jerusalem with the Old City behind him. This speech was given on November 25, 2007 at One Jerusalem Campaign Launch. Eric Cantor's teenage cousin Daniel Wultz was killed in 2006 in Tel Aviv. Eric Cantor knows terror first hand and he would do everything he could to protect America from Islam.

Those who do not study history are destined to repeat the same mistakes. View this shocking picture of central Jaffa Street (near now Kikar Zion) - as it was barb-wire barricaded prior to the 1948 War of Independence. This entire discussion of Jerusalem as the capital of two nations - is an insult to both Jewish history and sacrifice, as well as common sense.

A beautiful and moving video presentation on Jerusalem - The Heart of the Jewish Nation. This short film is dedicated to all of the Jews around the world.

In our of the modern traditions now embedded in Judaism (and for gentiles), is to travel to the Western Wall (the Kotel) and place a prayer note in the cracks. To make room for new ones, the Western Wall notes are removed twice a year, as rabbis and workers clear out visitors' handwritten prayer notes left in Judaism's Western Wall. The process in supervised by the Chief Rabbi of the Kotel itself.

A beautiful and moving presentation of powerful images and music from the Holy Land. "Lev Tahor" is Hebrew for "Pure Heart".

I am posting this satire cartoon on wejew with a heavy heart - as the arabs are currently ripping up the Temple Mount in Jerusalem. The Wall is only holy because it is connected to the Temple Mount. This satire cartoon says it all - what is behind the Wall is what counts. I wish we as the Jewish People would stop settling for praying at a ruin - and take back our heart - the Temple Mount.

A rare, pre-state archive photo of worshippers praying at the Kotel (Western Wall) in Jerusalem in the year 1920. While the modern state was not formed until 1948 - the roots of the modern Jewish return had been planted in the mid and late 1800s.

I was not sure about this cartoon - if it is too funny or a bit brazen - what do you think? Post a comment! Is this ok humour or not? Note how this 30-year-old cartoon is totally applicable the current prime minister of Israel and his negotiating position.

The Kotel transforms from the day of activity to the night of meditational possibilities. There have been a few times I have been with the Kotel 100% by myself..with not another Jewish soul on either side - in the middle of the night in the winter during rain storms - it is the holiest.

It is the gateway to our hearts - and the closest we can get to the heart of the world - The Temple Mount. Here is short but well-done flash animation from www.thekotel.org

For the first time after the victory in 1967 restoring the Temple Mount to Jewish sovereignty, here is rare archive photo of the Israeli flag being raised near the Temple Mount in Jerusalem.

A rare photo of a soldier weeping into the Holy Kotel Wall after it was liberated from 19 years of arab rule under Jordan, during which the Old City was maintained in ruin.

The ever-positive Yishai Fleisher of kumah.org and israelnationalradio.com covers the massive Kohanim blessing at the Kotel (the Wall). If you have never experienced it - the feeling is like the blessings are emanating from the Wall itself. This happens twice a year during the Pesach (Passover) and Sukkot holidays.

The spiritual reality of the Kotel brought forth in a picture.
