An 18-day car rally during which participants raised funds for Israel was their way of saluting the 60th anniversary celebrations of the State and 40 years to the reunification of the capital. Twenty-eight vintage cars some as old as Israel made their way from Britain, via France, Switzerland, Italy and Greece before flying with their cars to Israel where after visiting Sderot and Eilat returned to Jerusalem to wind up the rally.
