The great Jewish comedian legend, Harvey Korman, died Thursday in Los Angeles at the age of 81. Korman, a native of Chicago, was a character actor from the beginning, playing the butler in a seventh-grade production of Heidi. In high school he was active in drama club, and after graduating, he enlisted in the Navy during World War II.
