The greatest of Jewish musical stars in this century was the awesome Rabbi Shlomo Carlebach, who inspired a new generation of musical expression in the Jewish world. Every year in Jerusalem at the Convention Center, a memorial concert is held in which the best-known Jewish musicians play "Shlomo" songs for a packed house of appreciating fans.
